Enjoy a round of golf like never before!
Why Is Our Course So Special?
Here at Gilroy Golf Course we pride ourselves on the high quality of magnificent golf, superb amenities and outstanding service that we offer our valued customers. We have worked hard over the years to become a staple of the community, and in the process we have earned recognition as one of the region's premier golf experiences.
It`s serene setting in the still unspoiled Uvas valley makes you feel as you are miles
away from the hustle and bustle of a big city.
Built in 1923 by local farmers and businessmen, the golf course has gone through very few changes from its original classic design. Small undulating greens and wide generous, tree lined fairways will await you at every tee. The design is user friendly for the recreational golfer yet challenging enough for the low handicapper. Give this "11 hole gem" a try...you'll be glad you did.

Gilroy Golf Course
If you havent played Gilroy Golf Course lately......than you haven't played the "NEW" Gilroy Golf Course. Starting August 24, 2021,the oldest public golf course in Santa Clara county will be taking on a new look! We have brought back an old hole that was part of the original golf course layout from the 1923 design. The re-incarnation of our par 3 #4 is going to turn heads as to it's serene beauty. New asphalt cart paths that will be completed by October 1. A new route plan an a few new bunkers and tees makes it's easy to see why Gilroy Golf course is known as the "Best 11 hole golf course in the U.S.". But don't let the "11 hole thing" scare you away. This course can be played as a nine hole course for a quick round during the day or challenge yourself with 18 holes. On the back nine, you play seven of the same holes that you played on the front nine but from different lengths and angles, plus two entirely different holes that you didn't play the first time around. Hole #8 is a challenging par 4 that requires an accurately placed second shot into a narrow opening through the oak trees guarding the green. Hole #9 is a short par 4 from an tee perched on the side of a wooded hill. Hole #17 is an uphill par 5 with a double tier green. Hole #18 is our "signature hole", a beautiful downhill 245 yard par 3 with a 300 foot elevation drop and a view of the entire southern tip of the Santa Clara County as well as the pristine Gabilan Mountains. Our historic golf course is a par 70 (35 on each side) and can be played from 5200 yds to just over 6000 yds.
